Question 1

What is the difference between top support and bottom support pyramid shades?

Accepted Answer

On our top support shade the steel sits above the fabric, so you see a smooth fabric ceiling from below. On the bottom support shade the fabric is stretched over a frame underneath, so the steel is visible from inside. Both have the same pyramid shape and fabric choices, and we will help you pick the one that suits your site.

Question 2

Will a top support pyramid shade hold up in sandstorms?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We engineer every structure for SBC 301 wind loads and size the columns, footings and fixings for your site. Because the fabric presses up against the frame in gusts, this design holds its shape well, and our maintenance plan includes re-tensioning after the Shamal season.

Question 3

Can I add more bays later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pyramid modules repeat on a column grid, so we can add bays to your existing row. Tell us at the site visit if you expect to expand, and we will plan the layout and footings so the new modules match.

Question 4

How long does the fabric last, and what warranty do I get?

Accepted Answer

Typical life is 8–12 years for HDPE, 10–15 years for PVC and 25+ years for PTFE, depending on sun exposure and care. You get a 10-year warranty on the steel structure and 5–10 years on the fabric, depending on the type.

Question 5

Can you fit lights under the shade?

Accepted Answer

Tell us at the design stage if you want lighting. We then include cable routes and fixing points in the steelwork, so your electrician can fit the lights neatly without drilling the frame later.

Question 6

How long does installation take?

Accepted Answer

A villa shade for one or two cars takes 1–2 days on site, about 1–2 weeks from order. A car park of 10–20 bays takes about 2–4 weeks, including roughly 7 days for the footings to cure. Larger projects are phased so your car park stays in use.

Question 7

How do I get a quotation?

Accepted Answer

Call +966 58 317 7864 or WhatsApp +966 55 017 1295 with your city, number of cars and a few photos of the site. We book a free site visit and then send you a layout drawing with a written price, before you pay anything.
