Why your Jeddah shade needs a different build
Humidity and salt all year
On the Red Sea the air is humid in almost every month, not only in summer. Salt settles on steel and speeds up rust, especially in seafront districts such as Al Shati, Al Hamra and Obhur. So your frame is galvanised, with hot-dip galvanised members on exposed coastal sites, and we seal the base plates and anchor bolts against moisture. That is how we can give you a 10-year warranty on the steel.
Rare rain that arrives all at once
Jeddah sees little rain in a typical year, but one storm can flood the streets. That is the main reason we recommend PVC car parking shades for most Jeddah sites. PVC-coated polyester is waterproof, and we slope the fabric so water runs to a planned point instead of pooling or pouring onto your walkway. It also gives you close to 100% UV block against sun and sea glare, and light colours from our 12-colour range reflect the most heat. PVC typically lasts 10–15 years.
When HDPE is the smarter buy
For very large open car parks, such as warehouse staff parking, breathable HDPE car parking shades let hot, humid air escape and cost less per square metre. They are not waterproof, so we suggest them only where rain cover is not your priority.

- Cultural and public buildings. A shade next to a public building should look like part of the design, as at the Prince Sultan Cultural Center. Curved arch frames or cobra car parking shades give you a more architectural shape than a plain box frame.
- Offices and clinics in Al Rawdah and Al Zahra. Your visitor bays suit a single row of cantilevers in a colour matched to your facade. Cantilever usually costs about 10–25% more than pyramid, and we will show you both prices.

Villas, chalets and compounds in Jeddah
If your home is in Al Rawdah, Al Zahra, Al Salamah or Al Naeem, you probably need one or two cars covered. Standard sizes are 6.0 × 3.0 m for one car and 6.0 × 6.0 m for two, with a 2.5 m open height we raise for SUVs. A one-car shade starts from approx. SAR 2,500 and a two-car shade from approx. SAR 4,500 (excl. VAT), installed in 1–2 days on site. In Obhur, where many properties are villas and chalets near the water, salt air is your main enemy, so our advice is simple: galvanised steel with PVC fabric.
