In simple terms, PVC-coated polyester is a strong woven polyester fabric sealed with PVC on both sides. That gives you a membrane that is waterproof, UV-stabilised and easy to keep clean.

What makes the difference to you is how it is made and fitted. We cut the fabric into panels that match your frame, weld them together and fix them with tensioning hardware. Good tension is what makes a shade look crisp and shed water; a slack membrane collects water and sand and wears faster. Permit support. Where a Balady carport permit is needed, we prepare the shade drawings and work with a licensed engineering office to file it.
Fabric patterning and welding. PVC panels are cut and welded in our Dammam workshop to fit your frame exactly.
Steel fabrication. Columns and rafters are fabricated and galvanised or coated in the same workshop.
Installation. Our crews set the foundations, erect the steel, then fit and tension the membrane. A villa takes 1–2 days on site; 10–20 bays take about 2–4 weeks.

PVC Car Parking Shades: frequently asked questions

The membrane blocks direct sun, so your cars stay much cooler than in the open. Because PVC does not breathe, warm air can collect under a very low, flat roof. We prevent that by setting the right height and slope and leaving the sides open, so hot air escapes. For very hot inland sites we may suggest HDPE instead.

The fabric is waterproof and our welded seams do not leak. Water tightness also depends on slope: a correctly tensioned, sloped membrane sheds rain to the edges, while a flat or slack one can hold water. We design the slope and run-off direction for your site.

White PVC collects dust, especially in sandy areas, but it usually comes clean with a water rinse, and a quality top coat resists staining. If you prefer less cleaning, we suggest cream or grey, or one of our maintenance plans.

Typically 10–15 years, depending on grade, colour, tension and exposure. You get a 10-year warranty on the steel structure and 5–10 years on the fabric, depending on type.

Often, yes. PVC is heavier and catches more wind than open-knit HDPE, so we first check your steel, connections and foundations. If the frame is suitable, we pattern new PVC panels to fit it; if not, we tell you what needs strengthening.

Yes. We supply a fire-retardant PVC grade, and we share its test certificates with you or your consultant on request. If your project has a fire specification, send it with your enquiry and we will confirm the fabric in writing in your quotation.
